Julie Belize: San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, Belize; I moved to Belize from Vermont in 1998 to write. After a few years with only short stories published, I reverted to earlier life skills – building and designing houses. In 2003, I created Caye Casa - a boutique hotel on the beach in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, Belize. That’s where I live, write and play innkeeper for one of the best hotels in Belize – nature's best kept secret.
